We've been so fortunate that the weather has been very pleasant for most of our time here in Paris. It was in the 70s today for our trip to Versailles! Mainly just pictures today -- but, if you're interested in the history, here's a bit about the Palace: https://en.chateauversailles.fr/discover The art and stuff inside was cool (especially the paintings on the ceilings and the Hall of Mirrors), but the gardens were truly magnificent. My favorite part was when the fountains in the garden danced to the music!
When I got back this afternoon, I took the advice of Julia Costich (a colleague from UK) and went in search of a "Picard" frozen food store -- where everything in the store is FROZEN. It was pretty wild -- and I found some good stuff to try. I was again amazed by the rating system on the food (A-E) indicating its healthiness (or lack thereof) and it struck me how much easier it is to evaluate your food choices as you shop with the rating system right on the front. While I was out, I came upon the Pantheon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panth%C3%A9on) which is decorated for Bastille Day tomorrow and another cool church.
